Memory Verses
Memory verses are a great way for new quizzers to get into teen quizzing. I suggest you start during the summer and learn as many as you can. The list of verses is your portion, or you can find them at the links below. If you want to do memory verses, then talk with one of the coaches and we can help you get started.
NOTE: Make sure that you compare every memory verse resource you get against the Memory Verse list from the Portion. Some of the free resources have had mistakes in the past.
- Memory Verse List – Make sure you have 2018-2019 selected in the drop down.
- Print your own Flash Cards
- Purchase Flash Cards (Make sure you select the Nazarene Material for John)
- Apps and Websites – See this page.
- Jingle Seeds – Memory Verses put to music. This is not as good as the children’s memory verse CD, but I have only heard a few sample tracks. I don’t expect that they will have the CD for John ready until sometime this summer.
- The Statistical Risk and Reward of Memory Verses in John – This is good information on learning the memory verses.
